What is OTM technology?
OTM stands for Optical Translation Measurement. OTM is a unique technology for measurement of relative motion in 3D, using a laser source and a patented optical set up.
What is the VPen™?
The VPen™ is an accessory to a handset. It is best described as a combination of a pen and a mouse and enables full interaction with a handset including, graphical and text input, joystick control for advanced gaming and screen navigation. The VPen can be used on any surface.
How does the VPen™ communicate with the handset?
The VPen™ can use any communication means e.g. Bluetooth, USB, IR.
What is the NaviLite™?
The NaviLite™ is an optical joystick that can be embedded in a handset. It enables continuous (analogue) omni-directional movement (360 degrees). Its high durability and small size makes it suitable for handsets. With the NaviLite you can sketch graphical messages into your handset and play advanced games.
What modifications in the handset does the OEM have to do?
The VPen™ is standalone and can be used without any modification to the handset. However, for enhanced functionality like graphics input and analogue screen navigation minor changes in the handset software are required.
Does the OTM technology have other applications?
Yes. OTM technology is applicable to any device requiring measurement of relative motion, such colour-printer encoders, paper encoders and shaft encoders.
